Michael Barclay

I am a Financial Advisor at Evershore Financial Group, an independent comprehensive financial services firm located in Orlando, The Villages, Palm Beach Gardens, and Boca Raton. I enjoy finding creative solutions that assist in solving problems. My motivation each day is to help people find financial success. I find it extremely important to be attentive to the client and available when there are any questions.

Previously I worked for a local municipality for 24 plus years. In working in the public sector, people are your business. Every day there is something different. I started off managing multiple facilities that our customers used for different recreation activities. Each day I had to anticipate the needs of the customer and make sure their experience was positive. Later I transitioned into managing staff that implemented the core values of the municipality. While working for a municipality, I was able to work with people of all ages. Whether they were young athletes playing in youth sports, members of a Senior Center, or customers at a counter. Each day I worked to make sure I could help anyone that needed assistance.

While being born in Tennessee, I was raised in Central Florida. My wife Nicole and I live in Winter Park with our daughter Liberty. We love spending our time together going to Disney Parks, local parks, and historical sites around the United States. I am an avid baseball and college football fan. I also like to spend time on the golf course and working around the house.  I attended the University of Phoenix where I majored in Business Management. After finishing, I decided to continue my education and went on to receive my MBA.
